Bainbridge police have suspects in The Hive break

Bainbridge police are investigating last week’s break-in at The Hive on Honey Hill, the former Chagrin Cinemas site, and have as suspects juveniles who live nearby within Geauga County, but not Bainbridge.

The Hive on Honey Hill was broken into late July 26 through the removal of plywood affixed to a door frame at a rear door of the building.

One of The Hive’s antique candy vending machines valued at $20,000, according to owners Jimmy and Kimberly Gibson, was opened and damaged.

Police also believe someone urinated at the site.

Nothing else was reported missing or damaged.

Whoever broke in will face charges of breaking-and-entering and vandalism.
